JKS World Championships

September seen JKS Scotland host the JKS World Championships at the Emirates Stadium in Glasgow this year, with around 760 entries from 26 Nations the very best of the worlds karate-ka were in attendance!

 

Huge Congratulations to the JKS Edinburgh Squad – Sensei’s Robert Steggles, Maja Wright, David Johnstone and Corinna Del Debbio who took part in various events throughout the weekend!

 

You all did exceptionally well and held your own on the world stage, with a couple of medals coming from Robert sensei taking silver in the koten kata and Maja Wright taking Gold in the 40-49 female Kumite!
